On Saturday 18th April, 2026, Av Charlene Baldacchino Gauci participated in a panel about the Implementation of Miscarriage Leave in Malta, alongside Dr Helga Consiglio and Ms Mariella Meachen, during a conference organised by the Junior Chamber of Advocates.
During the session, she explored how miscarriage leave applies in practice, highlighting employers’ obligations to safeguard both employees’ job security and the sensitive data associated with such leave.
