On the 18th December 2023, Av Charlene Baldacchino Gauci participated in an interview on the programme “Gimgha b’Gimgha”, whereby she discussed important principles of Employment Law.
During the interview, Av Baldacchino Gauci discussed the main differences between the two types of employment contracts, these being definite and indefinite contracts, and the way in which an employment relationship may be terminated. Av Baldacchino Gauci highlighted the importance of the implementation and adherence to Company Policies by employers and employees alike. Various rights and obligations of employers and employees were also explored during the interview, including employees’ rights to different types of vacation leave.
